Is it worth visiting Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck in Singapore?
Of Course, yes. Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck not only gives the skyview of Singapore, but it takes you to another world. The tall looking 3 beautiful towers not only gives a unique look from the bottom but also gives an amazing vibe from the top. So, if you are planning to visit this beautiful place then here are some guidelines you need to know.
Marina Bay Sands SkyPark Observation Deck
Since childhood I have been scared of heights but eventually, I started liking it. But I am still scared of lift. I went on a lift till the 56th floor for the first time in Singapore to the SkyPark Observation Deck. The SkyPark Observation Deck is located on the 56th floor and on the 57th floor you will find some restaurants and even there is a place to walk around.
Do you know , Reaching the SkyPark Observation Deck is very easy because the Singapore transportation system is so well planned and everywhere you will find good connectivity so if you don’t want to travel through public transportation then you can find taxis as well. If you would like to save some bugs then definitely I would suggest you travel by public transportation.
Once you reach marina bay sand you need to go to tower 3 for the tickets. For foreigners there is a different ticket charge and for locals or those who are on EP, DP and SP for them the ticket charger is different. Best part is you don’t need to stand in the Q or you don’t need to wait for a longer time for tickets because you can buy tickets digitally. You just need to insert your card and check out the tickets. It’s very simple and smart. You can save time and of course energy.
Once you get the ticket they will assist you where to go, before entering the lift they have a big camera they will capture each of your picture and they will give a hardcopy while returning from the sky deck. And each picture costs $50.
Once you are done with the picture for lift you need to stand in the Q . The security will leave 7 to 10 people in 1 lift so you just need to stand in Q for 2 to 3 minutes. Best part is that the lift doesn’t stop on each floor; it goes directly to the 56th floor. I was so shocked that the lift went to the 56th floor in just a fraction of a second. You don’t even feel that you are going to the 56th floor.
Once you reach the 56th floor you are able to see the top view of singapore. One side you can see the sea and on the other side complet singapore. The merlion park, singapore flyer and beach filled with many ships looks so amazing from the top.
We spent almost 2 to 3 hours. You can also carry food or snacks. There are some restaurants but again the cost is very high so it’s always better to carry something before going.
So, if you are coming to Singapore then do not miss to visit this place. If you need more information do comment. I will reply asap to your comment.
